Art Is The Flower, the new Single Malt Scotch Whisky by Macallan, has been created in collaboration with the association that carries on the legacy of architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Britain's leading exponent of Art Nouveau, and his European influences.
This precious limited edition is inspired by the iconic glass panel 'The Spirit of the Rose' from 1902, while celebrating the cyclical nature and floral artistry of Mackintosh.
Crafted by Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, the Blend is made from a selection of fully matured ex-Sherry European oak casks. The result is a whisky of great complexity, with hints of sultanas, fig, oak, cherry, almond, orange and treacle. Notes of sweet oak, vanilla, ginger, apple and tea leaf prevail on the palate, with a long, sweet and full finish.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
