The Macallan Harmony Intense Arabica is the latest bottling in the Harmony Collection, a limited series of annual releases driven by Macallan's spirit of research.
This Single Malt is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean, the first coffee species to be cultivated. It is aged in carefully selected American and European oak barrels ex-Sherry whose distinctive notes evoke a sweet but strong espresso.

The Macallan Harmony Intense Arabica Single Malt is presented in a gift box made of recycled materials, cleverly crafted to give new life to coffee bean husks, a byproduct of coffee that would otherwise be discarded. The red color was chosen to reflect the rich red color of the coffee fruit.
The Single Malt The Macallan Harmony Intense Arabica has rich hints of almonds, vanilla, raisins, tiramisu, cappuccino and sweet oak on the nose. Notes of raisins, dark chocolate, vanilla and blackberries prevail on the palate. The finish is persistent and balanced, with nuances of roasted coffee.
A stunning pairing for this Scotch Whisky is an homage to the Ethiopian tradition of serving coffee along with popcorn: a cup of coffee (if possible from Harrar and Guji beans) and a dram of Harmony Intense Arabica, with a bowl of salted popcorn.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
