The fifth edition of The Macallan's renowned Harmony Collection is a sensory celebration that blends the world of single malt whisky with the ancient art of tea. In collaboration with JING Tea, masters of high-end tea, this release takes its inspiration from the prized Phoenix Honey Orchid oolong, grown in the mountains of Guangdong and renowned for its lush aromas and aromatic complexity.
This 2025 expression from The Macallan is conceived as a dialogue between two arts – distillation and tea culture – which share values of patience, nature and craftsmanship.
Matured mainly in American oak casks seasoned with sherry, enriched with European sherry oak and a delicate component of ex-Bourbon casks, which give balance between sweetness, fruit and depth of character.
The inspiration for Phoenix Honey Orchid tea can be found in its aromatic profile: an explosion of fruity notes of peach and apricot, floral honey, tropical fruits and hints of toffee and sweet oak give it an enveloping and harmonious palate.
The taste reveals a refined balance between fruity sweetness, citrus warmth and subtle floral notes, ending with an elegant, complex and pleasantly persistent finish.
The presentation of this edition reflects The Macallan's philosophy of sustainable innovation: tea leaves unsuitable for consumption have been incorporated into the packaging paper, transforming waste material into a luxury design object.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
