This 2023 release was made in collaboration with the famous musician Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds. Whisky and music, in fact, are able to give great emotions and evoke pleasant distant moments.

In this marvellous marriage of music and whisky, wood becomes the protagonist: it is, in fact, what defines the personality of whisky and characterises the sensory experience, but also the raw material used to create wonderful musical instruments.
Charlie, in fact, made a guitar in collaboration with a luthier in southern Spain, using the same wood used by The Macallan to age the Rare Cask 2023.
This limited edition of The Macallan has a mahogany colour with ruby highlights. The perfume is soft and welcoming. Complex and rich, it opens on aromas of vanilla, sultanas, apples and citrus.
The palate is rich and enveloping, oriented towards spices and chocolate. The finish is long and velvety.

This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
