The taste of this Monin Lychee syrup is exactly that of this fantastic fruit: sensual, very sweet and reminiscent of the Muscat grape berry.
Lychee is the fruit of a tropical, sub-tropical tree native to China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The tough pinkish peel peels to reveal a creamy white flesh, similar in texture to grapes, with a floral fragrance and a sweet, fragrant taste. Records of lychee consumption in China date back to 2000 BC and it was certainly a delicacy of the Chinese imperial court, where fresh lychees were delivered by fast horses. Today, they are widely spread fresh and canned, and are cultivated by many tropical countries around the world. Fresh lychees are available from November to January and add an Asian flavour to fish dishes and an oriental variant to desserts such as coconut rice pudding with lychees.
Add the delicate oriental flavour to your cocktails, lemonades, teas and smoothies with Monin Litchi Syrup.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
