A rum entirely aged in a tropical climate, in 500-liter barrels ex-Sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez of the highest quality, coming from some of the most famous bodegas of Andalusia. In 2017, in fact, the bodegas Lustau delivered 500-liter European oak Sherry butt to Hampden that had contained for 3 years some very high quality Oroso Pata de Gallina and Pedro Jiménez. Hampden has thus used these perfectly seasoned Sherry Butt to age its pure single rum in a tropical climate. The result is a perfect marriage between an intense and unique rum and the best Sherry butt.
Pagos takes its name from the definition of parcels and terroir in the Sherry tradition.
Contained in congeners of 1603.5 gr / hlpa, of which 394 gr / hlpa are esters.
