Armada rums are characterised by a very long ageing period. After so many years in a tropical climate, they evaporate more and more, so that only a few drops of truly extraordinary agricultural rums remain inside the barrels.
This is why Gregory Vernant decided to create the Armada series, to leave a mark of the style of his aged rums on his heirs. Only the mimetic quantities left in the best casks become part of the Armada series.
