This rum is the result of a collaboration with Velier and belongs to the Clos Velier line: selections of casks chosen directly at the distillery and bottled without any corrective interventions. It is not just a simple AOC vieux rum: it is an agricole rum brought to the limit of tropical maturation.
SFTB stands for Straight From The Barrel: the rum is bottled at its natural barrel strength, without substantial reductions, heavy filtration or additives. The result is a spirit that fully reflects the profile of the fermented cane juice distilled in the Savalle créole column designed by the Neisson family, then aged for 10 years in Martinique.
The nose is very complex, with hints of bitter cocoa, tobacco, orange peel, honey and pine resin. The palate is structured but precise, rich in notes of spices, dark chocolate, liquorice, wood and tropical fruit, with a persistent, balsamic and mineral finish, in which the salty tones typical of the coastal terroir can be perceived.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
