Foursquare Raconteur rum takes this name from two great raconteurs: Luca Gargano and Stephen Remsberg, both of whom are famous for their inextricably linked history with rum. Raconteur was born from the close collaboration between Foursquare's Richard Seale and Luca, and is the oldest release this distillery has made so far with Velier.
MAXIMUM ONE BOTTLE PER CLIENT
Foursquare Raconteur rum is composed of a blend of two rums, single and double matured. The former was aged for 17 years in ex-bourbon barrels, while the latter was initially aged for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and later aged for another 12 years in an ex-Sherry Oloroso barrel. As is customary for Foursquare, each rum is blended from double retort copper pot still and the traditional twin column coffey still before being placed in barrels.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
