Highland Park 12 Y.O. is one of Highland Park's historic labels. The unique microclimate of the Orkney Islands, combined with the company's long experience and tradition, give life to this world-renowned Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It is aged for a minimum of 12 years in ex-Sherry European and American oak casks.
Highland Park 12 Y.O. is golden in colour with amber highlights. The nose is broad, rich and precise, marked by notes of undergrowth, heather, spices and citrus fruits. The smokiness is very light. In the mouth, the whisky is opulent and rich, with an excellent freshness that balances the palate. The elegant finish is of medium length.
An unctuous malt that evolves beautifully between heather, ash and a gourmand texture.
Highly versatile, it is ideal for cocktails, neat or paired with spicy dishes.
The Highland Park distillery, owned by Edrington, has unveiled new 'clean and contemporary' packaging for its core single malt range, launching in October 2024, which marks a new era for the brand, inspired by the natural beauty and creative spirit of Orkney. The design, by D8 Studio, celebrates the light and climate of the archipelago through a vibrant colour palette, labels decorated with heather (a direct reference to the local peat that gives the whisky its characteristic aromatic smoke) and an updated logo, accompanied by details that highlight craftsmanship, such as the wood grain motif inspired by sherry seasoned oak casks. the bottle has been redesigned to enhance the natural colour of the whisky and engraved with the 'product of Orkney' icon, while the focus on sustainability is reflected in 100% recyclable FSC-certified cases.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
