Artist 13th Edition Spirits Shop Selection is born from the encounter between European whisky culture and the fine?tuned sensitivity of Asian selectors, with an almost obsessive attention to detail. These bottles are aimed at advanced enthusiasts, featuring rare distilleries, closed sites or particularly characterful casks. Every release is a small liquid manifesto, individually numbered and bottled in extremely limited quantities.
Littlemill was a legendary Lowland distillery with roots going back to at least the late eighteenth century, finally closing in the 1990s. Most of the original buildings are gone, which adds to the almost mythical status of surviving casks. Its style, delicate yet far from simple, combines grassy notes, citrus and a subtle minerality.
Littlemill 1989 Over 30 Y.O. Artist 13th Edition Spirits Shop Selection perfectly represents Lowland finesse: grassy tones, gentle citrus, white flowers and light spice create a subtle yet complex nose. The palate is lively and refined, with pale malt, vanilla and elegant acidity. The finish is longer than expected, leaving a fresh, slightly mineral trail.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
