Artist 12th Edition is part of the renowned Artist series, where whisky meets the language of contemporary art. The illustrated labels echo the character of the spirit, building a bridge between aesthetics and tasting. Each bottle is selected for its aromatic personality and bottled in limited editions for enthusiasts and collectors who see single malt as a cultural object as much as a sensory pleasure.
Bowmore, founded in 1779, is one of Scotlands oldest distilleries and the beating heart of the village that shares its name on Islay. Its style combines peat smoke, flowers, tropical fruit and a refined maritime note to create deep yet balanced whiskies. Long?aged bottlings are famous for their layered complexity and remarkable evolution in the glass.
Bowmore 2001 Over 20 Y.O. Artist 12th Edition combines Bowmores peat smoke with a surprising floral and fruity streak. The nose mixes violet, tropical fruits, sweet malt and delicate ash. The palate is harmonious, with mango, vanilla, smoke and sea salt. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering flowers, fruit and gentle embers.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
