Artist 13th Edition Spirits Shop Selection is born from the encounter between European whisky culture and the fine?tuned sensitivity of Asian selectors, with an almost obsessive attention to detail. These bottles are aimed at advanced enthusiasts, featuring rare distilleries, closed sites or particularly characterful casks. Every release is a small liquid manifesto, individually numbered and bottled in extremely limited quantities.
Glen Garioch, founded in 1797 in Oldmeldrum, is one of the oldest distilleries in the Highlands. Over its history it has moved between gently peated and more robust malty styles, always retaining a strong sense of place. Long?aged selections highlight a solid, spicy and richly textured personality.
Glen Garioch 1992 Over 30 Y.O. Artist 13th Edition Spirits Shop Selection brings classic Highland muscle into the glass, with toasted malt, nuts, dark honey and very gentle smoke. The palate is rich and spicy, backed by firm tannins that support the sweetness. The finish is warm and persistent, with lingering nutty, oaky and spicy notes.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
