Artist 13th Edition Spirits Shop Selection is born from the encounter between European whisky culture and the fine?tuned sensitivity of Asian selectors, with an almost obsessive attention to detail. Ardbeg, officially founded in 1815 on Islays south coast, is one of the worlds most iconic peated distilleries. Long fermentations and a carefully selected spirit cut produce an intensely smoky malt that still carries layers of citrus and herbal notes. After a troubled twentieth century, Ardbeg has been reborn as a modern reference point for complex, deep peat character.

The palate is broad yet perfectly poised, with sea salt, herbs, black tea and mellow sweetness wrapping around the peat. The finish seemingly never ends, with constant interplay of smoke and sea.
