Drouin Expressions Très Pomme 2022: the heart of the apple

Calvados Pays d'Auge Drouin Expressions Très Pomme 2022 is produced from the 30 varieties of cider apples from orchards owned by the Drouin family. The juice of the macerated apples is obtained by soft pressing, similar to champagne pressing. The cider obtained from the spontaneous fermentation of the juice is then distilled in a traditional Charentais still. Ageing takes place in barrels that have previously contained Drouin Calvados.

Très Pomme' Calvados are so called because of the particular aromatic intensity of the apple.
