Christian Drouin's Expérimental range returns to Japan with Chichibu Angels: a blend of 12-year-old Calvados Pays d'Auge, aged between 4 and 10 months in 5 rare and precious casks that have contained Chichibu, giving it its delicate and elegant imprint.
The result is an alliance between the aromas of one of Japan's rarest single malts and those of the finest eaux-de-vie from Normandy.
The nose is rich with hints of roasted apple and quince jam, evolving into fine wood and cereals. The palate is intense and balanced, with notes of barley, apple and citrus fruits.
