Christian Drouin's Experimental line is joined by the Foursquare Angels for the eighth edition of the range.
Foursquare, an iconic family-owned distillery in Barbados, is renowned for producing rums with exceptional aromatic expression that are recognized worldwide. In this case, a 17-year-old Calvados Pays d'Auge was transferred to 8 French oak barrels, which previously held the Foursquare distillery's renowned rum. After 17 months of maturation in these barrels, the calvados was then transferred to freshly toasted barrels for an additional 3 months before being bottled.

Christian Drouin Experimental Foursquare Angels represents one of the most intense and rich expressions ever produced in this range. At the heart of this extraordinary calvados is a powerful 17-year-old distillate.
On the nose, this calvados captivates with its aromas of ripe and roasted apples, delicate notes of vanilla, creamy caramel and sweet brown sugar. On the palate, it reveals all its richness with suave and harmonious flavors of tropical fruits, dark chocolate and sweet spices. The finish is prolonged and powerful, developing notes of pine nuts and almond. An extraordinary taste experience that leaves a memorable impression.
Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
