Drouin and the marriage of rum and Calvados: a wonderful experiment
Drouin's Experimental JM VSOP is a 10-year-old Pays d'Auge Calvados that has undergone extensive aging inside barrels that have previously contained VSOPs of important JM agricultural rums.
The seventh edition of Christian Drouin's Expérimental range takes us to Martinica.
Of this Calvados Guillaume Drouin said: "We chose a fairly tender and gourmet Calvados for this association with the world of agricultural rum. The rum cask gives the Calvados a caress of vanilla and an extra roundness. JM Angels is, without a doubt, the most delicate finish we have achieved in this range with old rum casks."
