Single Malt Nikka Miyagikyo Discovery Aromatic Yeast is part of the Nikka Discovery series, created to trace and highlight the key stages in the creation of Yoichi and Miyagikyo. This edition focuses on the specific influence of yeast on the flavour profile of the whiskies, with the use of unusual strains alongside those traditionally used.
The nose is refined and exuberant, with hints of lavender, liquorice and malted barley that give way to nuances of flower meadows and fruit, before evolving into vanilla, coconut milk and meringue.
The palate is balanced and full-bodied, with herbaceous and refreshing notes that gradually become richer, evolving into tones of white peach, pear and acacia honey.
The finish is persistent and soft.

Distillates have different alcoholpercentages. So, we have defined a parameter allowing you to better understand and compare different prices. This parameter is calculated by dividing the bottle price by the alcohol content. The alcohol content (or strength) is the amount of pure alcohol (ethanol) contained in the distillate.
This parameter indicates the price of a single 4cl dosage of distillate. It is calculated by dividing the price of the bottle by its quantity (expressed in cl), then multiplying by the centilitres of the recommended single dose, as average in cocktail recipes.
